Hello, สวัสดีครับ

Did you know there's a very cool shopping mall just opened in the subarb of Bangkok (Next to Fashion Island Mall) called The Promenade or เดอะ พรอมานาด ?

This is a brand new mall which is also run by Fashion Island Mall and Terminal 21 Mall. What so cool about this mall is that the architecture and interior design is just magnificent! It uses European-style decor with semi-indoor atmosphere. There're only 2 floors here, so quite different from most of Bangkok's malls which are typically big buildings with 4-8 floors. There's also a serene fountain right in the heart of the mall too. Let's check it out! :-3

The front area of The Promenade

This mall is actually not that huge. You can walk around the entire 2 floors in 15 minutes. Personally, I feel like I'm walking in Disneyland (hey, if you're from the country where there's Disneyland, this might not sound that exciting. But here in Thailand we don't have it -_-"). German-inspired design, which they call it Romantic Casual. I totally agree to this as I feel that this place is such an ideal place for a chilling day ^^.

From the outside, it's so Disneyland, very colorful and fancy

One of the features I love about this mall is their use of skylight roof, making it so bright inside. Contrast to its relative mall, Terminal 21, which is more solid and tall-building style.

The center of the mall is a small courtyard with a nice dancing fountain.

This uncle is always sitting here reading newspaper. ( :-3)

What a peaceful corner here. The red maple leaves make it so warm.

A staircase to 2nd floor. Looks like it comes from Cinderella.

A home decoration shop. Cute and stylish. This kind of shop is all over The Promenade.

If you want to go to the next-door mall, Fashion Island Mall, there's a connecting bridge fully air-conditioned for you, with the decoration inspired by French palaces.

An interlligent map that can help you find whatever you want in the mall. The circle 'Garden' in the middle is where the dancing fountain is.

Restrooms are also luxarious and decorated with chandeliers. Sweet!
